Markham Youth Theatre is a group of young people who want to provide more quality opportunities for other young people to learn about theatre. Our Board of Directors are an extremely approachable group of people, intent on providing some great opportunities and entertainment to the community. They actively seek out youth with ideas and proposals for new shows and venues. Every season we actively fulfil our mandate:
"Established in 1992, Markham Youth Theatre's mission is to give young people the opportunity to focus their talents and aspirations in the fields of acting, production, musical, and technical theatre. MYT is a non-profit community theatre company run by youth for youth that strives to bring artistically challenging, professional-calibre productions to the Markham area."

The 2008 Season has been chosen and we're evoking a bit of nostalgia as we resurrect both JCS and Playing In The Park for the first time in 8 and 7 years respectively. Then our first ever production of Grease - the way it was meant to be done. Auditions for Grease are complete and casting will be announced soon. Good Luck to all those who auditioned!
